Adapt Assessment

Adapt Assessment is an E-Learning and E-Training based website, developed using Ruby on Rails. Adapt Assessment website administrators are able to:

• Create and manage user account, with automatic expiry, for their online courses.
• Construct a permissions based resource content using an administrator only HTML editor.
• Defined courses and course assignments, against which candidates can be assigned. The website tracks assignment materials and allows both course assessors and candidates to upload course materials, such as documents and images (which are automatically resized and thumb-nailed)
• Roles based email notification to and from course assessors and candidates on all course activity, such as: comments, file and image uploads and course status changes.

pantherFotos.com

pantherFotos.com is a Ruby on Rails driven website and was developed in just over two months on a part-time basis. It combines two of my interests: photography and software development. pantherFotos offers three levels of membership: free members can upload a limited number of photos whereas professional and premium level members benefit from:

• Ability to upload and sell digital photographs either as individual photos or as a collection of photos
• Define own photo licensing terms per photo
• Create and Sell photo collections and albums
• Photographer profile page
• Blogging facilities
• Create public or private clubs where other members can either freely join or can join by invitation only
• Club newsletter facility which all club members are notified of when published
• Ability to create club related forums which can be either public or private to club members only
• Ajax based rating and commenting system
• Ajax based Photo GeoCoding via Google Maps
• General Discussion Forums
• Ajax based Digg like links section where members can submit links to photographic related websites. These links can be voted and commented on. Links are then ranked and displayed by order of popularity

pantherFotos is gaining in popularity by both photographers and photo stock libraries, some of whom have expressed in interest in licensing pantherFotos for their own use

DigiBusters

DigiBusters.com is a Panther Software developed website which facilitates contact between PC users with computer problems and computer experts able to fix these problems. Several Xoops modules were developed to cater for client and DigiBuster accounts. A payment gateway module was also developed to process client payments.

• Updated version of Xasset, and in-house payment processor for Xoops, to manage credit card processing via a payment gateway. Paypal is currently supported. Plugin architecture supported
• Forum like module allowing clients to post Support type tickets and DigiBusters to post comments and bids
• Bidding system for tickets posted

Axsianet - Intranet

Developed for an engineering client to provide a library of information, resource and as a communication medium for all staff and management. Features of Axsianet include:

• Forums and private messaging
• Security linked to the company's NT based authentication enabling users to use existing security credentials for access onto the intranet
• Custom made helpdesk system enabling users to communicate requirements and issues to IT. The helpdesk module would generate emails informing users of progress or enquiry about further information
• Live addressbook system that integrates into the company's Exchange servers, requiring no maintenance as all leavers and joiners would be automatically picked up via the Exchange server address book

Bloodfin

Bloodfin.org is fan based site related to the Star Wars Universe and the online game, Star Wars Galaxy. Bloodfin is also a very popular and respected site in the gaming community receiving over 30,000 unique visitors each month. We have served over 350,000 visitors since the site went live over a year ago.

Users are presented with a bustling forum community and one of the largest collections of guides related this game (over 200 indexed guides). Other features include:

• Online opinion polls with instant feedback
• Large Image gallery
• Great visitor interaction by being able to comment on any aspect of the site, be it an article or a gallery image. These comments are viewed and commented on by all
• Extensive behind the scene visitor activity tracking to analyze daily, weekly, month and yearly trends. This level of detail extends to detailing referral links and visitor geography

Mods-X

A resource and service oriented website providing several articles relating to the installation of Linux onto the X-Box gaming platform.

Mods-x offers an upgrade service via an on-line shopping cart and payment gateway via PayPal and NoChex .

SonikGurus

SonikGurus.com is the website of the established London based Asian Underground band, Sonik Gurus.

This site was designed to interface with Sonik Guru's growing fan base by posting news on any upcoming gigs, events or venues in which the group is performing. Fans can get in touch with the Sonik Gurus via a forum and can download performance and interview videos along side promotional MP3 tracks.

The Sonik Gurus website also contains a very popular image gallery that contains highlights from past performances at various venues.
